Our Team

Eloise Middleton is the tenth of fourteen children and was raised in North Carolina. Over 30 years ago, while on vacation, she fell in love with the Bay Area and decided to stay. Eloise has been a REALTOR® since 2004 and a REALTIST since 2010. The prior years at American President Lines in marketing and sales shaped her background in sales, marketing, and her passion for helping others, making it a natural progression to move into real estate. As a REALTOR®/REALTIST, she enjoys serving her community and is dedicated to serving family, friends, and clients, as well as the opportunity to work with her husband, Dennis, a CPA who has worked in the Oakland/Montclair area for the past 30 years. Eloise has many local resources and service providers to share, and she welcomes the opportunity to serve you and your family too. She specializes in residential single-family and residential income properties, including Luxury Homes, Probate/Trusts, First-time Home Buyers, and Investors.

Eloise is a member of The Women’s Council of The National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (NAREB), and the local chapter is Associated Real Property Brokers, Inc. (ARPB). She served as the President of the Women’s Council Board from 2018-2019, helping to increase home ownership. She is the Founding member of a local networking group entitled Visions of Exchange (VOE), under the umbrella of Business Networking International (BNI). Eloise is a member of Gamma Phi Delta Inc., chapter Gamma Chi Sorority, where she serves as 1st Vice President. They help young people thrive through awarding scholarships and other activities. She is also a member of the Oakland Bellevue Club, one of the historic membership clubs in the Bay area.

Eloise attended University of Phoenix, Walnut Creek, studying Business Management. She also attended Durham Community College, Durham, North Carolina, Stratford Women’s College, Tampa, Florida, and Northern High School, Durham, North Carolina.
Eloise believes in lifelong learning and is always attending workshops in Communication and Business Technical Writing, Leadership, Negotiating, Strategies, etc.

She is a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, where she sings, works with youth, and helps work in the community.

Ryan Porter is the third of five children raised in Oakland, California. He entered the real estate profession after completing a successful career of both front line, and project managerial roles in the transportation industry. He combines his knowledge of managing large projects with an intense passion to help people achieve their goals. Real estate has been the perfect convergence of his extensive skill set and his need to help people. His local knowledge of the bay area accompanied with the need to help improve his community have laid the groundwork for helping his family, friends, and clients with all of their real estate needs. Ryan is extremely proud to be a part of the ERG team.

A graduate of University of California at Davis with a degree in Political Science, Ryan went on to manage several city transportations sites, specializing in transporting the elderly and disabled which helped to maintain their independence. He also worked as a flight attendant for southwest taking care of the needs of thousands of passengers with a servant’s heart. This background has provided Ryan with a specific skillset in successfully identifying the needs of his clients and aggressively addressing them.

Ryan inherited the “workout bug” from his mother. He loves outdoor activities with his wife and watching and talking about sports.

Ryan’s goal every day is to be the man that he wants his two sons to become.

"Eloise made it work for me and I'm happy to the be the proud owner of a modest fixer upper in West Oakland - my new home for BBQing and work/live space. Looking for property is difficult in the Bay area, especially one near the last Oakland BART stop from downtown SF. It took a very dedicated and strategic approach to finding the ideal match. We started the process in Nov of last year and worked as a team. Some hurdles we faced were low inventory, unresponsive sellers, and those wanting CASH only. Not a good vibe to start the process. I was also determined to come in under $500,000 for a single family and in West Oakland (though I did look at other Bay area regions, housing types, and pricing considerations to justify my logic). We looked at each property from top to bottom, gauged if we should make an offer and followed through where necessary, even where we didn't make the cut. Our first offer was accepted, but hit some lending hurdles due to property construction type. It took over 7 other offers before we found a winner in West Oakland in April. Eloise's persistence with the selling agent, immediate turn around time for document request to the lender, and other vital skills helped seal the deal. Thanks Eloise"
